TechQuest PA President and CEO Kelly Lewis has been appointed to the PA Senate Government and Management Study Commission to "find new savings in state government operations, large and small, and avoid the need for future tax increases." Senator Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R-9) announced the appointment and the first meeting of the commission is scheduled for Friday, February 19, in Harrisburg. 

TechQuest is putting together an advisory board to study this issue.  The first meeting of the Tech Industry State Government Cost Study Advisory Board will be on February 25, 2010 at 8:00am at TechQuest headquarters.

"I look forward to providing input from Pennsylvania's technology segment for improving government efficiency and cost effectiveness," Lewis said today. TechQuest PA will form a government management and cost efficiency committee to assist the Senate Commission evaluate management efficiencies moving forward.
